Coaches will rate their Coachee’s conduct during the one-on-one session and set checkpoint dates.
As much as in-person coaching is helpful, the follow-up is equally important. This is where checkpoints come in and this article explains further.
You can access the checkpoint function in several ways:
1. After your Coachee ends the one-on-one session, you will receive a notification within FLASH Coach to set the checkpoint. Click on the bell icon to open the notification list and select the session that requires you to set a checkpoint.
2. You can look into ‘Sessions’ and search for sessions with 'Pending Checkpoints' status.
Whichever option you selected, you will be directed to a new page titled ‘Set checkpoints’.
You will first see a summary of the session, which you can minimize the information by clicking on the expand icon .
Next, you will see the section to rate your Coachee’s behavior during the one-on-one session and to determine checkpoint date(s).
1. Mouse over the gray stars to have the score highlighted according to your observation.
📌 Note: you cannot change the behavior rating, thus do make objective considerations before rating.
2. Set a checkpoint date. Click anywhere on the date field to reveal the calendar and make your selection.
3. You can add extra checkpoints if you have set the review session for more than the default two days. Click 'ADD CHECKPOINT' and follow the steps to input dates. The maximum number checkpoints for any session is five (5).
4. Confirm your rating and checkpoint date(s) and you will be directed to updating checkpoint scores.
