Find out the types of actions that Functional Unit Managers can add when it comes to Checkpoints with Coachees.
If you’re in a Functional Unit Manager role, this article is for you.
Specific actions can be introduced when it comes to Checkpoints.
These will be added as validation activities that Coaches and Coachees are encouraged to engage in during Checkpoints.
These are optional, depending on the subject at hand, what the next steps should be, and the scenarios that Coachees will face based on the subject.
Here’s how they can do so:
1. Select 'Subject Management' from the main navigation section on the left side of the screen.
2. Choose the relevant Sub-functional Unit and select the pencil icon on the right side, beside the Status.
3. Select the ‘ACTION AT CHECKPOINT’ tab, right underneath the subject’s status.
4. After that, select ‘Add action’. Enter the activity the Coach and Coachee have agreed upon and select ‘Save changes’.
⭐️ Not sure what to add? There are many examples of actions you can use, such as role-playing for difficult customer scenarios, or remote observations to assess improvements in performance based on previous feedback. These are dependent on the subject, the Coachee, and what was agreed within the Options and Way forward sections of their GROW forms.
