Checkpoints for progress tracking

Find out what checkpoints are, the variables within checkpoints, and what to do during checkpoints.

Checkpoints are check-ins that take place between one-on-one coaching and the final review.

These are used to track the Coachee’s progress before the final score is given, and it’s an opportunity for Coaches to provide feedback and course correct, if necessary.

The number of Checkpoints set will depend on the final review.

  • By default, the review can be set at least two days after one-on-one coaching. In these cases, there is only enough time for one Checkpoint.
  • For reviews that are longer than two days, the Coach can decide the number of Checkpoints, but the maximum frequency is capped at five (5).

During checkpoint dates, the Coachee will be assessed with a selected checkpoint validation activity. The Coach will input the score recorded during checkpoint as a progress marker for the Coachee.

After adding these performance scores, Coaches will save them by selecting the 'Save progress score' to record them.

Coachees will be able to refer back to these Checkpoints by selecting the relevant Session to continually improve their progress.

Once you are done with these Checkpoints, both Coach and Coachee can move on to the final review as the next step in their coaching journey.
