How Coachees accept a coaching session invitation

After your Coach has created and set up a coaching session for you, here’s what you need to do.

1. To start, sign in to FLASH Coach with your username and password. You might need the help of your team lead to do this. Learn more about how to log in here.

⭐️ You can access FLASH Coach quickly each time by selecting ‘Remember me’. If you’ve forgotten your password, select forget your password to reset it.

2. Upon signing in, you should be redirected to your Sessions page, which you can learn more about here.

3. From there, you should be able to receive a notification. Notifications can be found on the top-right side of your dashboard, and this notification should inform you of your pending coaching session via an invite from your Coach.

4. If there are no new notifications, you can select ‘Sessions’ on the left of your screen to access the relevant coaching session. Remember to cross-check the session date and its status, ‘Pending Confirmation’, to select the relevant one.

⭐️ If you’re a Coordinator or Functional Unit Manager, you’ll see an extra filter to help you switch between functional units.

5. Once you’ve selected the right coaching session, check the session details to confirm it’s the correct one. If everything is fine, go ahead and select ‘Start preparation’ to plan out your session based on the GROW model.

6. However, if your session is based on the Conversational Model, your session should be already moved to the ‘Scheduled’ status. This means you won’t have to prepare anything prior to the session, so you can start coaching by simply starting the session.

⭐️ You might’ve noticed that your sessions follow either the PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, and Act) or PD (Plan and Do) framework, which will be predetermined by your Coach. Learn more about the difference here.
