A Coach’s role and how to navigate FLASH Coach

Learn about a Coach’s role, responsibilities, and how to navigate the scoresheet, coaching sessions, teams, logs, and settings.

As a Coach, your primary responsibility on FLASH Coach is to create and conduct coaching sessions for your Coachees. Sessions fall into two main frameworks — PDCA and PD — depending on the subject being coached.

The Coachees assigned to you are determined by the sub-functional unit you belong to. You may have more than one active Coachee at any given time.

Each coaching session comprises:

  • One-on-one meetings — conducted online or on-site.
  • One to five Checkpoints — to track a Coachee's progress throughout the programme.
  • A final review — to determine whether the Coachee passes or requires further coaching on the subject.

Navigating FLASH Coach
When you log in to FLASH Coach, you will see the navigation menu on the left side of the screen, giving access to each area relevant to your Coach role. Read on for a breakdown of how to use them.
