Track the performance of functional units under your purview, and make changes in user and subject management.
Once you log in to FLASH Coach, you will be directed straight to your dashboard.
From here, you will be able to see a navigation menu on the left side of your screen. Here are some details about the pages housed in them, what information is stored, and your capabilities within each one.
Dashboard view
Once you land on your Dashboard, the default view reflects details of the Functional Unit which covers these information:
1. The first thing you’ll notice is a drop-down list of Functional Units under your purview. You can go ahead and select the unit from the menu to retrieve the complete information for that particular team.
2. 'Upcoming task': any scheduled coaching sessions with members within your Functional Unit.
3. 'Overdue task': coaching sessions that were not completed. You can click on a particular name to access the individual’s dashboard for a more detailed breakdown of a session.
4. 'Recent activities': a log of your coaching sessions.
5. 'Report': reports that can be generated and downloaded within an Excel file. You can download the data of up to 10 functional units per time. Here’s how you can do so.
6. 'Functional Unit’s Session': the overall coaching progress of the functional unit, encompassing the number of Coachees coached, the total active and closed sessions, the total number of Coachees, and the overall usage rate of FLASH Coach.
7. Here, you can opt to view coaching results on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis. The key coaching indicators will be displayed in the form of three main charts, including
- 'Happiness': sessions rated satisfactory by Coachees.
- 'Compliment likes': positive feedback left by Coachees.
- 'Success': pass rate out of the total subjects coached.
8. Next, you can compare the results of different Coaches by selecting any name from the drop-down menu.
9. Once a name has been selected, you will see the accompanying results, which include the 'Most coached subjects', the 'Most failed subjects', and 'Top skills to improve'.
10. When you scroll on further, you’ll find trackable metrics from coaching sessions. These include the 'Compliance Rate', 'Incomplete Rate' – which measures the rate of uncompleted sessions – and the 'Conditional pass rate' of Coachees.
11. Underneath that, you will also get a comparative display of the 'Type of sessions' conducted, divided into performance or behavior and conduct.
12. Next to it, you can evaluate the 'Session duration' in terms of average coaching time, as well as the longest and shortest coaching durations. These also will be displayed with detailed timestamps for each step of the PDCA framework.
As a Functional Unit Manager, your menu will be more extensive than other FLASH Coach users. The primary difference is that you will be able to perform administrative functions such as managing users and subjects.
These functions can be found within the 'Settings' option of your main navigation menu. If you need some guidance on how to utilize these functions, don’t worry – you can check out our user management and subject management articles for more in-depth information.
Teams view
From here, you will have a bird’s eye view of your team members, as well as their particulars such as their names, employee IDs, units, and previous or upcoming sessions.
You can select a profile and view their details such as their full name, employee ID, functional unit, market (where applicable), designation, and assigned Coach. From there, you can select 'VIEW SESSIONS' or 'VIEW LOGS', which will then redirect you to the respective screens.
Logs view
You will be able to view the overall coaching sessions undertaken by your functional unit and Coaches.
As you might also conduct coaching sessions, you can select the 'Team' tab to view the sessions you are an active Coach in.
