How to use 2-factor Authentication

What 2-factor authentication (2FA) means and how to use it to access FLASH Coach.

Everyone who accesses FLASH Coach will have to use 2-factor authentication.

This is a two-step verification process to ensure the platform’s security and confidentiality remain intact. This can be carried out through a 6-digit one-time passcode (OTP) through either your email, or a mobile authenticator app, depending on your Functional Unit.

If it’s your first time using this method, here’s how to do so:

1. Enter your username and password. Your username should be your FLASH Home username and your password should be your employee ID.

2. For authenticator access, you’ll be required to scan a QR code through either a Google or Microsoft Authenticator app. If you don’t have access to an Authenticator app through your mobile device, please contact your Team Lead or Coach to generate a code for you.

3. If your Functional Unit supports email verification, you’ll receive a 6-digit code in your email registered with FLASH Home. If you don’t receive it (check your Junk and Spam just in case) or it expires, click ‘Get a new one’ to generate another.

4. Select ‘I’ve gotten my code’ once you’ve successfully scanned the QR and input the 6 digits before choosing ‘Verify’. Be sure to do so within 30 seconds for authenticator-generated codes, or within 10 minutes for email OTPs.

4. Once you’re done, you’ll be able to log in successfully.

Still not entirely sure what FLASH Coach is used for? Not a problem, you can find out more about what the platform is and how it's used here

⚠️ In any instances where your login details or authentication device are lost, you can reset your QR by using recovery questions. Please note that the external FLASH Coach website can be used without being logged into a TDCX network or VPN, but only by authorized teams.
